Can someone explain this to me?

I put up my latest Hometown excerpt yesterday.  It got a Like (hi Dr. Suglia!), so that means someone read it, right?  And yet, my WordPress stats don’t show any hits on that post either yesterday or today.  How does that work?  Are WordPress stats trustworthy at all?

    It’s because WordPress only records actual visits to your *page*. 🙂 If someone liked it from the WordPress Reader, it won’t register as a hit even if they read all the content. More info can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
